Your 100% tax-deductible donation to Hire Survivors Hollywood® will allow us to continue serving the community of survivors we are dedicated to so we can end retaliation, get survivors hired, and transform the entertainment industry to be safer and more equitable for all.
Your 100% tax-deductible donation will go directly towards our operational costs, materials development, resource expansion, and new and existing programming for survivors and stakeholders so that we can continue the transformative changes we are so deeply committed to.
Hire Survivors Hollywood has already taken many tangible actions that have directly served the survivor community including:
- Creating a comprehensive toolkit and checklist to assist stakeholders in putting the Hire Survivors Hollywood pledge into action – at every step of production – from development to release
- Ensuring that the Hire Survivors Hollywood pledge has been widely embraced by many dedicated filmmakers and industry professionals, which has resulted in auditions, interviews, and jobs for survivors on every production Hire Survivors Hollywood has consulted on
- Partnerships with leading organization such as Women in Film, ReFrame, and The Hollywood Commission
- Development of a survivor database – for above and below the line talent – as a key tool in ensuring survivors are getting equitable employment opportunities
- A successful awareness campaign which garnered tremendous support from industry heavy hitters who wore Hire Survivors Hollywood pins to The Oscars, The WGA Awards, and during press for “She Said”
- Consulting services for filmmakers, stakeholders, and those in positions to make hiring decisions – on various creative projects – which directly leads to interviews, auditions, and jobs for survivors and safer, more equitable work environments for all
- Ensuring inclusion of survivors as a protected class from companies and organizations such as Husslup and Women in Film via optional demographic check boxes – and application questions – which allow survivors to self-identify
- Free media training for survivors who are considering sharing their experiences publicly
